About us
We are a husband-and-wife team living in Maryland. We created Leaping Lizard Studio as a home for the pottery we make individually and together. Leaping Lizard is a non-commercial studio – we work for fun, not profit.
We make pottery by hand building, wheel throwing and slip casting. We also design and print 3-D forms that we use to create our own plaster slip casting molds and texture imprints.
We don’t offer instruction, but you can visit our Studios We Follow page to find some studios that offer classes in the Baltimore-Washington area.
